HELLOOO ALL! It has been a LONG LONG LONG while since I last updated and I am truly sorry but with 3 weeks of break, I can finally update! Well, probably not everything though because I came home and I left some stuff back at school (collagen sleeping mask, Q10 lotion and natural milky lotion). Unfortunately, i havent been using the collagen sleep mask or the Q10 moisture lotion enough so i cant really write a review for it. The collagen sleep mask does make your face super soft after application though. Not sticky at all!
I have been using the natural milky lotion enough (almost finished with the bottle in fact), so i can pretty much do a review on it but I will be lacking in images. I will do a review of it after the H&M mask!
but first, I would like to say THANK YOU to all that have given me comments these few weeks on my blog posts! Whether it be questions asking about the product I reviewed, teaching me new things I never knew of or so on, I really appreciate it! Thanks guys! I hope you guys will continue to read my blog in the future! ^^

H&M Face Mask, Dragon Fruit:
Well to be honest, I would have never really purchased this at H&M because it costs $3 for a tiny pack, but I was trying to reach $12 to use my wrapp credit so I ended up getting it. I'm a big fan of dragon fruit so this mask in particular caught my interest.
Apparently, as stated on the package, the mask is to exfoliate and soften your skin, as well as smooth away dead skin.
Leave on for 10-15 minutes then wash off.
I guess I was pretty disappointed because when I first saw it, I thought it would be like those face mask sheets, not in liquid format. I guess I should have read the back of the package instead first, but oh wells I guess its alright.
Made in UK.
It looks like yogurt and smells quite nice as a matter of fact. Floral and a bit of the dragon fruit scent mixed together, but mainly floral. quite relaxing and soothing scent in my opinion. But yes, other than looking like yogurt, it also feels like yogurt, perhaps the more gooey kind.
WORD OF ADVICE: best to use before you shower because this can get quite messy.
Honestly, I think you can split this pack into half and use it two times because I had extra after I smoothed it over my whole face.
No pictures because it was finals week so I was rushing and I just wanted something to soothe my dying face ahhaha.
I think the walnut shell they put into this mask was quite interesting because it feels like you're massaging those soaps/body washes with beads onto your skin, except the only downside is that these dont melt and they somewhat hurt your skin too.
I think my skin was too dry and deprived but after massaging the mask onto my skin, i started getting these tingly burning sensations.
I left the mask on until I felt it harden on my face and then proceeded to wash it off.
once again, I strongly suggest you do this before you shower because it is pretty hard to wash off, especially if the walnut shell gets stuck onto your hair...
Afterward...AHH face looked and felt really soft. It wasn't as soft as the egg mask i reviewed before but it was pretty good. Not oily either. I liked it BUT the only downside is that the stuff doesnt actually wash off your face...
I remember when I put on my toner before sleeping at night, I got blotches of pink on my cotton ball. What's even worse? The next day. My face turned pink... especially around my cheeks and it looked like i had blush on. And yes, used toner and still got pink stuff on my cotton ball.
Would I use it again? No. too troublesome.
Natural Milky Lotion
Unfortunately, this is the only image I have of the lotion right now. I have no idea what it is really called because the whole bottle is basically in japanese but I made out some words and it said something along the lines of 'natural ingredients' so I will just call it natural milky lotion.
Ok, if you have seen my review for the Q10 Milky Lotion and saw the pictures of how that lotion wouldn't even come out, then I can say that this lotion is the complete opposite. This lotion is a lot more watery.
In terms of smell, it smells a lot like citrus fruits. Quite interesting imo. I dont really remember what the back of the bottle said, but majority was japanese. Probably a few vague words in english telling you that it is for moisture.
Made In Japan.
I have been using this lotion almost every night for my whole body, mainly legs, arms and stomach and honestly, depending on how much you use, this stuff may or may not be finished fast because it is so watery. I think i have 25% of the bottle left.
I have really dry legs, the type in which you can see scales on my legs...and I wouldn't say this lotion helped with that but it did keep my hands and feet keep moist. It also made my skin feel quite soft as well.
If you dont like citrus smells, the smell isnt long lasting and it does go away quite fast. No lingering of smells in your room or skin like those bath and body works lotions. I'll let you, the reader, decide if thats a good or bad.
In conclusion, not a bad buy! Not entirely sure if I want to buy it again though.
I will be using Daiso's sake milky lotion next during winter break and see how it compares to this!
Can u apply this for face?
ReplyDeleteIf you're asking about the lotion, yes I'm pretty sure you can! I only use it for my legs, so I have not really tried it on my face before
DeleteHi there! Did you get this from daiso?
ReplyDeleteI recently purchased sake lotion {rice wine} it is actually a skin toner. Asians tend to refer toners as lotions. I learned that while using my Clinique step 2 clarifying lotion. {toner!} in conclusion, I noticed in their newer products they do include a mini English interpretation of the description and the ingredients, but I must comment it's quite vague. That's why I look up reviews to discover what I actually bought lol. Nonetheless I'm a huge Asian products freak/junkie, everything is so kawaii ✌️☺️✌️
