Lancome Nutrix Royal Body Lotion

Lancôme has become one of my favorite brands lately, and their lotion has got me hooked. Pricing is $39.00 for 6.7 OZ This is actually a crazy high price for lotion, so I use it sparingly.  I believe it is expensive because there is royal jelly in the ingredients.  At one point, I had cracked, lizard scale looking skin on my hands and this product actually helped get rid of it. Prior to that, I was using a hemp seed lotion, which didn't help at all.   The scent isn't too overpowering. It smells a bit like light perfume, that will last until the next day. It is actually really pleasant to smell and I will always catch myself trying to get a whiff of it. Awesome product that works! I haven't tried this on my face before and I'm also not sure if it is intended for the face as there is another version in a bottle that is meant for the face.

Shiseido Extra Rich Cleansing Milk

Today's review is on Shiseido's Extra Rich Cleansing Milk  I'm always a fan of trying facial cleansing products, and while the brands I've been interested in are going toward the upper twenties, this seemed like a pretty good budget face wash for the brand.  I believe this product was $18 before tax.  Size is 125ML or 4.2 OZ The bottle specifically says for dry skin and I think this is good for winter.  The color of the face wash is white. There is no floral or fruity smell to it- just that typical Shiseido sunblock scent.  In general, I've stopped buying Shiseido products because: 1. Their sunscreen products make me look ghostly white.  2. Their facial washes dry my skin out like crazy.  3. Their creams are really greasy.  I decided to try this because it is a cleansing milk...that sounded so nice I wanted to try it.  In the past, I've used a Shiseido face wash (not sure what it is called anymore), but it was one that helped

Shiseido Tsubaki Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner set with Treatment

I received this gift set as a gift and decided to write a review on it.  I've used it roughly for a month now.  Below is a picture of the set (courtesy of Google images) since I threw away the box.  Everything was in Japanese and I had a bit of a hard time finding more info, but apparently the price of this product is quite on the high end because they use natural ingredients such as lemon water,   botanical essence, soy protein, royal jelly, Japanese camellia oil essence.  Pictures of the bottles.  Shampoo  Conditioner  Special Treatment Smell:  Nice floral, fruity scent that is very pleasing. I use a lot of herbal essences, garnier fructis (American brands) shampoos/conditioners in floral scents and this is on a whole different level IMO. The scent is more subtle, yet comforting at the same time. American brand shampoo/conditioner are sometimes a bit overwhelming and artificial smelling.  So the one thing I really liked about this br

REVIEW: Silk Facial Mask by Huang Mian Tie

Hi All, Today's review is on the Silk Facial Mask that I purchased off ebay. I was short on facial masks and stumbled upon this. Was curious as to how silk masks are like so I got one. Price for one mask was $1.09 USD with free shipping from China. LINK here if you are interested. This is NOT an affiliate link and I am not sponsored to do a review on this product. There are different kinds, but I specifically chose the one that controls oil and acne.  So the logo on the packaging states that this mask will feel like you are not wearing anything at all, and that it is as natural as your face.  Back of packaging says Natural Silk Facial Mask.  Ingredients are listed as well as instructions on how to use the mask.  Please note this mask is made in china.  Picture of the mask. It doesn't look as smooth in texture compared to other facial masks I've used in the past. It is actually a bit rough looking.  I've never used silk masks before so I&#

Biscolata Mood Cookies: Chocolate filled goodness

Its been a while since I last had Meiji's Hello Panda or Lotte's Koala cookies, but these Biscolata cookies sure bring back some memories. It has always been a pleasure looking at the pictures on these cookies and delightfully eating them afterward. These Biscolata Mood cookies are the same, except that instead of panda or koala cartoons etched onto them, they have something called Moods. These moods are categorized by: Luck, Health, Love, Happiness, Friendship, Work, Joy, Success, and Money. Each mood has 3-4 different images. Try to find them all!! An envelope for Work.  Images for several other moods.  Nutrition Facts!  Taste:   So how well does this bring back memories in terms of taste? These Biscolata cookies came in nice snack sized cups that can be easily transported. It even comes with a resealable plastic lid.  The cookies are fresh and crisp. The outer cookie layer is thinner than I remember for panda or koala, thus making

Fake vs Authentic Chanel Perfume Part 2

Hi all, here is a PART 2 on Fake vs Authentic Chanel  If you have not already, please click  HERE to read the first post I put up regarding fake vs real.  At the time of that review, I did not have an authentic No 5 bottle with me to compare with the fake I received.  I finally got some authentic bottles and will show some photo comparisons.  IF you have already ready my previous review, then you will know that the one on the left is the FAKE.  I purchased a tester bottle of an authentic.  Note that the authentic is an Eau Premiere (EP), and not Eau De Parfum (EDP). EP is a modernized, lighter version of the EDP, but in terms of bottles, they are pretty much the same.   So right off the bat, the "N5" font already shows noticeable differences. On the fake, the N is wider, and thicker than the authentic.  C H A N E L is also spaced differently as is P A R I S Bottom of the bottles. Again, on the authentic the text is ETCHED onto the bottle. On the f

COACH Mary Lock up and Tea Rose Crosby Shoes

Today's review will be on Coach Mary Lock Up in rogue color and Coach Tea Rose Crosby in Chalk color. These shoes are used mostly for work purposes.  I picked up these MLU (Mary Lock Up) at my local Marshall's around more than a year ago. The color was so beautiful that I had to have it. They were the last pair and I paid around $60 for them (I think they were being discontinued, thus the price) These shoes are a steal. They are by far the best flats/loafers I have bought to date.  I normally wear 9.5 or 10 depending on the shoe. Sometimes I fit 9 for flats. (Definite 10 for Nike's).  I consider my feet to be flat/wide.  These MLU are so comfy. No pinky toe cramping or blisters at all.  They are 9.5 and they fit so well. I do think they got loose over time so I wear sock liners with these and they fit perfectly.  Next are these TRC (Tea Rose Crosby). I just got them a week ago from Amazon for around $90 after taxes. So far, they have only been worn o

REVIEW: Differentiating Between AUTHENTIC and FAKE Chanel Fragrance

Hi All, today I will be doing a review on AUTHENTIC vs FAKE Chanel Fragrances .  As a disclaimer , I DO NOT claim to be an expert in authenticating Chanel fragrances. These are all based on my own research and personal experience.  Please take a look at pictures of this No 5 Chanel Perfume that I bought off Ebay.  Just by looking at the BOX itself, everything actually looks pretty good. I even received this item BRAND NEW, with the clear plastic wrap on it. BUT, it is actually a FAKE. surprise!  Now, let's look at the perfume bottle. I have circled some of the issues with the bottle.  INDICATOR #1 OF A FAKE PERFUME:  Take a look at the base of this bottle. It is uneven. on the authentic, it should be symmetrical on both ends.  The cap is LOOSE. I am unable to show this on the photo, but the cap comes right off and does not snap onto the bottle.  I can't say much about the smell because I haven't smelled t
